Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce (TWCC) is an apex and umbrella organization uniting sectoral business women associations, companies, cooperatives, groups and sole proprietors who have agreed to form a united front to advocate, lobby and network for the wellbeing of their businesses and growth of women entrepreneurs.
The Chamber’s objective is to bring women entrepreneurs from all walks of life together, including those in the informal sector to encourage business formalization and growth through capacity building and mentorship in order to fight poverty amongst women.
TWCC envisions a Tanzania where women entrepreneurs are influential change-makers. Our vision extends beyond economic prosperity; it encompasses social impact, sustainable development, and a legacy of empowerment.
Our mission is to empower women in business. We strive to create an environment where women-led businesses flourish, access resources, and contribute significantly to the nation’s economy.
We are here to unite Tanzanian women entrepreneurs to have a unified voice and pursue collective strategies aimed at empowering them economically and socially.
